No, he used to live in Sandown opposite where I used to live but he moved to Ryde a few years ago. He has a disabled son and a much younger, much taller wife.

I think it depends how sensitive people are personally and how a show depicts comedy.
I'm as deaf as a post but found the deaf lady episode and the Rowan Atkinson sketch in Not the Nine O'clock News when a deaf man picks up the telephone hilarious. Probably because I of all people could understand it.
Someone asked me years ago when the film "See No Evil, Hear No Evil" with Wilder and Pryor came out "didn't I find it upsetting" and couldn't quite understand me when I said it was the funniest film I had seen in ages.
As I say it depends on the individual and how it is done.

God there are some idiots on here tonight .... Can someone call me a rascist ... My own Anglo-Indian ancestors would love that. I found Mind Your Language to be rascist and unfunny but IAHHM was ... For the couple of series ... Quite good and that was made so by the quality acting of the likes of Michael Bates and George Layton.

Watched the 1st series on DVD a few months back. I thought it was funny. Dont recall any racist remarks and it didn't make me cringe like Love Thy Neighbour would.
